I was awarded with two scholarships from The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) to support my research during and after my doctoral studies.
My work has been published in prestigious journals such as International Peacekeeping and the Journal of Economic Policy Researches.
My research focuses on international security, particularly within the realm of peace and conflict studies. Specifically, I delve into the dynamics of UN peacekeeping operations, with a particular emphasis on their initial deployments and their impact on mitigating violence and fostering peace in conflict zones. My research agenda is multifaceted, encompassing predictive modeling of multilateral interventions, various quantitative analyses of UN peacekeeping operations, and exploring the intersection of economics and peace studies. Through my research, I contribute to diverse literatures including multilateral operations, timing, and offer crucial policy implications for conflict resolution efforts.
